The learners On/Off Track widget allows you see what percentage of your learner base is currently working on track, ahead of schedule or off track on a overall progress basis.
To add the widget to the homepage of the Management Dashboard, you would select the Assessor Widgets selection dropdown and select the Learner On/Off Track (Overall Progress) widget.
Selecting this will add the widget into the 3x3 grid of widgets on your homepage, and will being to display the data for you as seen below;
This widget gathers its data based on the below criteria;
Total data used is pulled from below Criteria:
Active Learner- Learners on the site who are not archived
Active Course- The learner has an active course, meaning the status of the course is in training or awaiting induction
Primary Assessor- The learner must have a primary assessor on the course to be included in the calculation
The course must be included in the overall progress, meaning the tick box in the learner's courses page is not ticked
Pie Chart Figures:
The Pie chart figures are calculated based on the learners rag rating, then grouped into red, amber or green. The number of learners in each is then used to gather the % of the total amount of learners that they make up. If the total amount of learners is 100 and 50 of them are in the green RAG rating, then green will display at 50%
However these widgets do round the values if they do not work out to a round number, meaning that the values may work out to 99% or 100%.
This Widget will also not include learners who do not have a primary assessor, or are past the 25% timeline bar progress required to establish the RAG Rating(unless using the site configuration setting to start this at 0%)
This widget can be filtered on by either the Management Dashboard filters(click here for Dashboard Overview Userguide), or the internal filters when using the pop out area of the widget, accessed by clicking the Enlarge Icon(two arrows facing away from each other)
The trend chart for the widget can be expanded upon to view how the values have changed over time, this can be used to track the progression of learner improvement on a college/training provider basis and can be drilled down onto individual assessor's caseloads.
