The Average Learner  Off the Job Training Widget displays the Average % of off the Off the Job requirement that has been fufilled by learners active on your site.

To add the widget to the homepage of the Management Dashboard, you would select the Learner Widgets selection dropdown and select the Average Learner Off the Job Training widget.

Selecting this will add the Average Learner Off the Job Training widget into the 3x3 grid of widgets on your homepage, and will being to display the data for you as seen below;

This widget gathers its data based on the below criteria;

The Number of Learners:

Active Learner- Learners on the site who are not archived

Active Course- The learner has an active course, meaning the status of the course is in training or awaiting induction

The Percentage is pulled from the Below Criteria:

Active Learner- Learners on the site who are not archived

Active Course- The learner has an active course, meaning the status of the course is in training or awaiting induction

The course is set to be included in the off the job calculations at both a course level and a learner level.

There is also a further calculcation to the % which looks at 100% being the ideal, and then breaks this down evenly into the number of learners. Meaning if there are 5 learners, they are evenly weighted at being 20% of the total each. This is then compared to the amount of off the job hours logged by the learner, and the % of their total, see example;

The learner in the above screenshot is currently at 60% of their required total to date. As this is one of 5 learners, them being at 60% mean they are accounting for 12% of our widgets value.
